its absolutely true. But remember its hard to judge sometimes what may become a good link in the future.

...which is why you never want to get too hung up on any one site or link source. Any one of your links could also go away one day for all kinds of reasons. Which hurts when a site DOES take off and you got lost.

Just participate (social power linking) a lot all over the place and it all comes out in the wash.
