Years ago I wrote a theme song to the TV show Bonanza. It was rejected and the theme you are familiar with took its place. My theme song addressed the fact that there were no women on the Ponderosa--just Ben, Hoss, Little Joe,and good old Hop Sing.
If my song was chosen, this is what you would have heard:
